Around the world, conflict, climate shocks and displacement are disrupting education on an unprecedented scale. In just 20 of the world’s most severe crisis contexts, 74 million children are out of school completely. With at least US$600 million between 2027–2030, Education Cannot Wait can reach at least 10 million crisis-affected children with safe, quality education – including 5 million girls and 1 million children with disabilities – while strengthening locally led responses and protecting learning when crisis strikes.
