develoPPP is a funding programme commissioned by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) that supports businesses developing sustainable solutions in developing and emerging markets. The programme combines financial support, technical expertise and local networks to help businesses expand while generating positive social, economic and environmental impact.
Through develoPPP Classic, eligible companies can receive up to €2 million in public funding, covering a maximum of 50% of eligible project costs. The programme supports projects that demonstrate a clear development benefit and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
For innovative start-ups, develoPPP Ventures provides up to €100,000 in non-dilutive capital through a matching-funds model, alongside local technical support. It is designed for businesses that have moved beyond the start-up phase, generated initial revenues and are ready to scale their impact.
