EMIS in Action: Strategic Insights for Educational Planning
The International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP-UNESCO) offers this specialized online course to strengthen professionals’ ability to use Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) to support effective educational planning, management and policymaking.
The course provides practical knowledge on collecting, analysing and communicating education data, including school census data and information on students, teachers, infrastructure and financing. Participants will also learn how to assess EMIS systems, identify areas for improvement and develop targeted recommendations to strengthen data quality and use.
The training combines self-directed learning, weekly live sessions, practical assignments and interaction with international experts and participants. Successful participants receive a Certificate of Completion and 4 IIEP credits.
