Built to outlast projects. Owned by a movement.

The Inclusive Education (IE) Hub for Africa is a continental knowledge platform and repository of evidence, policy, training and community, purpose-built to outlast donor cycles and remain independent of any single sponsoring entity.

Our story

Why the IE Hub for Africa exists

Across Africa, commitments to inclusive education are strong on paper, yet children with disabilities remain the most likely to be out of school. The barriers are well known: stalled policy implementation, limited technical capacity, fragmented stakeholder engagement, and the absence of a central platform for knowledge exchange and advocacy.

The IE Hub for Africa brings together a diverse coalition of government institutions, organizations of persons with disabilities, civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, academia, the private sector, international partners, learners, teachers and families, working together as a Community of Practice.

Our work is rooted in a simple belief: disability rights are human rights, and education is where those rights begin.
