Terms of Service

The ground rules for using this website and the members' forum.

Accepting these terms

By using the Inclusive Education Hub for Africa website or registering for the members' forum, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or forum.

Who can use the forum

The members' forum is for educators, organizations of persons with disabilities, researchers, families and other stakeholders working on inclusive education across Africa. We review membership requests and may decline or remove access where membership criteria aren't met.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you register with and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Let us know straight away if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

  • Content shared in the forum, especially in private communities, is confidential to that community, don't share it outside the forum without permission.
  • Follow our safeguarding policy, never post a child's identifying details or an unconsented photograph.
  • Don't post anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site or forum.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post, but you give the IE Hub for Africa a licence to display and distribute it within the site and forum as needed to operate the community (for example, showing a reply to other members of a community you belong to). Moderators and administrators may edit, hide or remove content that breaches these terms or our community standards.

Moderation and enforcement

Community moderators and IE Hub for Africa administrators may pin, lock, or remove discussions, and suspend or remove members, in order to keep the forum safe and on-topic. See our FAQs for how the community is run.

Changes to the service

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the website or forum, and may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

The site and forum are provided "as is". We work to keep the platform accurate, safe and available, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for content posted by other members.
