The Mo Ibrahim Foundation is inviting applications for the 2027 Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships, a programme designed to develop the next generation of outstanding African leaders through practical experience at senior levels of prominent regional and international institutions.
Established in 2011, the programme selects three fellows annually to work in the executive offices of the African Development Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and the International Trade Centre.
Fellows gain first-hand exposure to institutional leadership, policy development, strategic planning and decision-making while contributing to research and initiatives addressing Africa’s development priorities. Each fellow also benefits from direct mentorship by senior institutional leaders and joins the Foundation’s Now Generation Network after completing the programme.
