This tip sheet from CBM Global’s Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG) sets out key messages and practical considerations for including people with disabilities in climate-smart agriculture programmes. It draws on years of work with Organisations of People with Disabilities (OPDs) and development partners across the Pacific and shows that climate resilience efforts are stronger when people with disabilities are included from the outset.
The resource is designed for NGOs, OPDs, government agencies and practitioners working in climate adaptation, disability inclusion or disaster risk reduction. It can help them make agriculture initiatives more inclusive, effective and climate resilient.
